The Cascade Wellness Resort in Lagos welcomed hundreds of marketing professionals from February 24th to 26th to take part in the "Marketing Mix of Error: Reboot to the Future": an event organized by Hélio Cabral | Marketeer, with the support of e-GDS, aimed at demystifying error as a taboo and approaching it positively!

Recognizing that digital channels play a fundamental role in today's business landscape and understanding the need for companies to adapt effectively to this reality, various discussions and panels revolved around this topic, including dedicated roundtables on E-Commerce and Digital Transformation.

, General Manager of e-GDS, was one of the invited speakers, bringing to the discussion the importance of different elements in the value chain that compose an e-commerce, with special attention to the hospitality sector.
"It's a mistake to think that e-commerce is just about having a website with a direct booking engine: it's the business strategy that dictates success. Technology is a facilitating means, of course! But simply 'migrating' a business online isn't enough: you need to think about the business as a whole and not be afraid to try, to make mistakes, because only then is it possible to evolve and make the most of the impact that technology has on business models."
