"The Importance of Accessibility in Hotel Establishments" is the theme of the inaugural conference of DecorHotel 2023, promoted by the ADHP - Association of Hotel Directors of Portugal, with the support of e-GDS.
The inaugural seminar of DecorHotel 2023 has, as its central theme, Accessibility in Hotel Establishments: a crucial factor for the hotel industry, recognised by the ADHP - Association of Hotel Directors of Portugal, which is bringing it to discussion with a group of prominent speakers.
This event will take place in the auditorium of Pavilion 1 of FIL - Lisbon International Fair on the 26th of October at 10:00 a.m., with the sponsorship of e-GDS.
Meet the Speakers...
The discussion panel will feature the participation of two renowned speakers: Leila Marques, Vice President of the Paralympic Committee of Portugal and head of the Paralympic Mission Tokyo 2020, who will bring her extensive experience in accessibility, and Ana Garcia, President of Accessible Portugal, an entity dedicated to improving accessibility in tourism, with moderation by João Serrano, VP of ADHP and Director of Hospitality Services at the Inatel Foundation.
The seminar will also feature the closing remarks by the Mr. Secretary of State for Tourism, Commerce, and Services, Prof. Nuno Fazenda.

Fernando Garrido, President of ADHP, highlights the relevance of this event: "We are launching another edition of DECORHOTEL with a highly important theme for the hotel and tourism industry. Accessibility is a topic that demands proactive action from the private sector, and with this panel, we aim to raise awareness among participants about the importance of addressing the associated challenges."
